DEEP STRUCTURE AND FORMATION MODEL OF CONTINENTAL CRUST OF THE VERKHOYANSK FOLD- AND-THRUST BELT IN THE LATE MESOZOIC

The article considers the geological framework of a large orogenic structure in northeastern Eurasia - Verkhoyansk fold-and-thrust belt (VFTB), formed Late Mesozoic on eastern margin Siberian craton. Zoning geopotential fields and authors' interpretation frequency-energetic characteristics along 3-DV reference geo-physical profile provided basis for modeling deep VFTB adjacent structures There were identified structural zones different geodynamic nature: outer zone fold belt, underlain by dropped craton; inner with oceanic crust at base; rear-zone complex subduction Uyandina-Yasachnaya island arc. In Earth's there are distinguished two layers approximately equal thickness: lower one comprises duplex system complexes crust, upper is built up formations terrigenous complex, which have also undergone folding duplexing. parallel thrusting layer over craton collision between occurred under its margin.
